Our goal was to open a very chopped-up part of the house into a space ideal for casual entertaining, with ample storage for a growing family.

We took down walls, expanded windows, stripped away ugly finishes, added beautiful lighting, and gave our clients a kitchen that flowed into the living area.

In the process, we uncovered the home's original central brick fireplace, made it functional and added a custom mantle to anchor the heart of the home.

The long custom built-in bench unified the spaces, offering hidden storage and a visual anchor for the tv, with inviting spots for lounging on both ends.
